The Shipley MYPs Are Working On

- Cleaning up Foster Park
- Getting more facilities in Myrtle Park
- Working to bring disabled and non disabled young people together

At the last public meeting on June 20th 2008 the MYPs reported back on their progress so far....

As part of their work to bring disabled and non disabled people together the Shipley MYPs organised an event at the Kirkgate Centre in Shipley. The event involved music and arts workshops and took place on June 22nd.

The MYPs are planning to hold a football tournamentin Foster Park and are working with a group of young people from Denholm to look at improvments to the park.

Later on in the summer the MYPs are planning to hold an event in Myrtle Park as part of their priority to get more facilities in the park.

The Shipley MYPs meet every Wednesday at Shipley Youth Cafe from 5.30pm to 8pm. Come along and help your MYPs make Keighley a better place to live for young people!
