The Bradford West MYPs Are Working On:

- Improve safety for young people in Allerton
- Build a youth shelter in Clayton
- Clean up Haworth Road park

At the last public meeting on June 20th 2008 the MYPs reported back on their progress so far....

The Bradford West MYPs secured £3400 funding from Parks and Landscapes to improve Haworth Road Park. The improvements have now been completed and the park looks much better.

MYPs had secured funding for a youth shelter in Victoria Park in Clayton but have been stopped at the last minute by local objections. Although the youth shelter project has been rejected the MYPs still have £5000 funding and are working with local young people to work out what to do with the money.

The Bradford West MYPs meet every Monday at the Information Shop for Young People in Bradford from 5pm to 8pm. Come along and help your MYPs make Bradford West a better place to live for young people!
