The Bradford North MYPs Are Working On:

- Cheaper transport for young people
- Better lighting in Ravenscliffe to improve safety for young people
- Clean up the litter in Greenway and make it an area young people go

At the last public meeting on June 20th 2008 the MYPs reported back on their progress so far...

The MYPs have just completed a district wide survey of young peoples views on public transport. They will be presenting their findings to the influential Champions for Children Board and asking them to take action.

The lighting in Ravenscliffe has already been fixed so the MYPs decided to look at other areas that affect young people's safety. They have written to the Council asking them to tackle the rubbish problem in the area.

The MYPs have visitied the Greenway area to note down the areas that needed cleaning up and had discovered that poor lighting in the area was more of a problem. The MYPs noted down the lights that needed repairing and contacted the Council to ask them to fix the problems.

The Bradford North MYPs meet every Tuesday at Laisterdyke Youth Centre from 6pm to 9pm. Come along and help your MYPs make Bradford North a better place to live for young people!
